Pastors’ & Deacons’ Conference

Pastors’ & Deacons’ Conference

May 14-16, 2018

Camp Pioneer
9324 Lakeshore Rd, Angola, NY 14006, USA
Phone: 1-716-549-1420
(You will require a Passport to cross into the United States)

One of the Presenters will be the Rev. Dr. Jason Kouri, whom we know well as a former pastor from our East District, he will be speaking on what are the TRUE PASTORAL MINISTRY ACTIVITIES.

Once again the spring’s conference is at Camp Pioneer, so there are rooms for two or three, also cabins for four. It would be most helpful if you could arrange roommate(s) in advance and list them at the time of registration. Also, supper is included on Monday.
Note: Due to the East District Convention in October, there will not be a Fall P&D Conference this year.

Who should attend? The conference is obligatory for rostered church workers. Non-rostered church workers (i.e., vicars, interns) in the East District are also invited to attend. Professional Church Workers outside the East District are welcome to attend but will be invoiced for the cost of meals and accommodations.

Register online below or download registration form – HERE.

Please note:
1.  Please keep an accurate record of expenses and car pool as much as possible.
2.  Congregations will be assessed for conference expenses through the District office.
3.  If you require transportation from the airport or train station, please contact the Chairman no later than April 30, 2018 so arrangements may be made.
4.  The deadline for registration is April 30, 2018.
